Attendance and Leave Accounting :: Signatory Responsibility

Certifiers

Campus policy requires timekeepers to certify, by signature, that the Attendance Report forms (672) correctly reflect Time and Attendance Reports (634) submitted by their employees.
Warrant Officers
Warrant Officers are responsible for picking up payroll warrants (and any Direct Deposit Advices) for their designated areas. Checks not picked up by the employees within five days must be send to the employee.
Alternates
Alternates share the same responsibilities as their counterparts.
Temporary Designees
If designators and their alternates are not available to perform their signatory duties, department supervisors may temporarily designate other employees to perform the duties so that paycheck distribution is not delayed. Temporary authorizations must be done by memo and should include the reason for the temporary authorization.
